Read Our Story.

Seedlings of SEN is a small charitable organisation founded by a mother of children with special needs, including Down Syndrome, ADHD, visual impairment and communication difficulties.

After discovering the benefits of Makaton, a signing and speech program, she wanted to help other families in similar situations. Seedlings of SEN holds monthly free sessions where children and families can learn, play, and communicate together.

The organisation is constantly fundraising to expand their offerings, such as providing bespoke Makaton sessions for families. Seedlings of SEN aims to provide a welcoming, nature-focused space for families to connect and support one another.
